Running London for Alzheimer's Research UK
I lost grandparents on both sides of my family to Alzheimer's and dementia. I'm running to help fund the research that changes that.
Why I'm running
I'm running for Alzheimer's Research UK after losing grandparents on both sides of my family to Alzheimer's and dementia.
I've seen what it does to a person and to everyone around them. Every pound raised here goes towards research into better treatments, and one day a cure.
Since becoming a dad, I also want to stay fit and healthy for my son, and help build a future where he and the generations after him don't go through the same heartbreak.
A future where he and generations to come won't have to experience the same heartbreak.
How I'm raising the money
Three things in the diary so far. Dates go here as soon as they're booked.
Christmas raffle
I'm hoping for prizes like Liverpool FC tickets, stadium tours, Bongo's Bingo tickets, afternoon tea, meal and drinks vouchers from local restaurants, and Christmas hampers and gift sets.
Parkrun bake sale
Cakes and bakes, sold at parkrun to raise money for the charity. Location to be confirmed.
Car boot sales
I'm selling things I no longer need and putting every pound towards my target.
The road to the start line
My running so far, and what's coming. I'll update this as the build goes on.

Anfield, the club, and the next challenge
Outside running, I'm a massive Liverpool FC fan and love going to Anfield to watch the Reds.
I'm a member of Zone Running Club, and I spend a lot of my spare time running, training and planning my next challenge.
London is the next one.
Thank you
Everyone who gives can have their first name here, if they're happy to. I'll add names as I get them.
